Is the NitKit safe for my kids?

Yes. The whole kit is gentle, insecticide-free and fragrance-free. The Glo-Powder is a food-grade UV-reactive powder that brushes out, and the lice lotion works physically rather than with harsh chemicals, so it's gentle on little scalps. As with any product, we recommend a quick patch-test first.

What age is it suitable for?

The NitKit is designed for the whole family and is suitable for children of school age and up. For toddlers and babies under 2, or anyone with a skin condition, check with your pharmacist or GP first. There are no fumes, so it's comfortable to use in any bathroom.

How many uses are in one kit?

One Family NitKit comfortably covers a household — typically several full spot-and-treat rounds across multiple family members, plus ongoing rechecks. The UV light is reusable indefinitely; you'll only ever need to top up the Glo-Powder and spray, which are sold separately.
